Nathan Bodin, M.D

Nathan Bodin, M.D. was recruited to the Virtua Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation Center in 2019. He brings with him more than 10 years of experience treating Hand and Upper Extremity problems in the S. Jersey and Philadelphia area. Dr. Bodin’s special interests include arthritis of the hand and thumb and treatment of pediatric sports injuries.

Dr. Bodin received a B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University. He completed the prestigious pre-IRTA fellowship at the National Institutes of Health followed by a Masters Degree in Biophysics from Georgetown, graduating cum laude. Dr. Bodin earned his M.D. at Drexel University College of Medicine. He performed his surgical internship and Orthopaedic surgery residency at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Bodin completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand Center with special training in pediatric hand surgery at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He has been in private practice in South Jersey for 6 years.

Dr. Bodin has published clinical articles on a variety of subjects and has presented at national meetings. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Bodin is Board Certified and on the medical staff of the Virtua Hospital System.
